$119.00 Per Person

Travel aboard the only steam train and riverboat connection in the United States – out of Essex, Connecticut. Board the Essex Steam Train at the 1892 Essex Station for a 12-mile, narrated round trip into the heart of the unspoiled Connecticut River Valley – designated by the Nature Conservancy as “one of the last great places on earth.” The train ride includes lunch on board. On arrival at Deep River, you’ll board the riverboat Becky Thatcher for a cruise along the Connecticut River – exploring the coves, inlets, marshes, wildlife and rocky shoreline – and viewing historic sites, including the Gillette Castle, Goodspeed Opera House and the Haddam Swing Bridge. On your arrival back at deep River, you’ll re-board the train for the return trip to Essex Station.

Departure at 8:00AM
